Millions Meditating – Circles of Joy
On Sunday, December 21, Circles of Joy is joining the Millions Meditating Alliance and the United Nations–proclaimed World Meditation Day—a global movement inviting over a million people to pause together for peace, healing, and inner stillness.
We’re opening our doors (and Zoom room) from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM for a hybrid meditation retreat that blends:
🎥 A watch party of the global Millions Meditating broadcast
🧘♀️ Live guided meditations led from the Circles of Joy sanctuary
🔔 Gentle sound, breath, and reflection practices
💞 Community sharing and integration time
As millions around the world sit in stillness on this day, we’ll gather as a local circle within that global wave of peace, intention, and connection on the Winter Solstice.
What to Expect
Across this four-hour window, you’re welcome to stay for the whole time or drop in as you’re able. A possible agenda:
10:00 AM – Opening & Grounding
Welcome, introductions, and a gentle grounding meditation to arrive in your body and the space.
10:30 AM – Global Watch Party Segment
We’ll tune into the Millions Meditating / World Meditation Day broadcast and sit in stillness together with the global community.
11:30 AM – Tea, Reflection & Journaling
Light pause for tea/water, quiet reflection, and optional journaling prompts.
12:00 PM – Live Guided Meditation & Gentle Movement
A heart-centered meditation from the Circles of Joy sanctuary, with simple breath or movement to reset your nervous system.
1:00 PM – Closing Global Segment & Blessing
Another shared meditation aligned with the global stream, plus a closing blessing for yourself, your loved ones, and the world.
2:00 PM – Farewell & Integration
Closing the circle with gentle integration and next steps to carry the peace forward.
(Exact flow may shift slightly depending on the global broadcast schedule, but the heart of our time together remains: stillness, connection, and peace.)
